Who We Are
- A community organization, run entirely by a group of volunteers, that welcomes new residents to Pound Ridge and the surrounding
areas and builds relationships amongst our neighbors.
- Our broad membership base is made up of singles, couples, families, empty nesters, and new and established residents.
- Dedicated to build a stronger community by promoting social and civic welfare.
What We Do In The Community
- Provide an opportunity to meet people in the area and discover our town and community by offering diverse activities and
events covering a wide range of interests.
- Help newcomers in the area adjust to their new surroundings by providing a network of support on a wide range of issues
such as town services, organizations, and local businesses.
How We Are Funded
- Membership Dues: we charge $50 per household per year to help cover Club expenses (events, newsletters, mailings, etc.).
- Advertisement Fees: advertisement in our bimonthly newsletter which reaches over 350 homes in the community.
- Donations: donations and contributions from local businesses.
Goals for 2009-2010 Season
- Double our membership (The Club was up over 50% last year.)
- Offer free events to our members through fundraisers and donations.
- Build relationships with more local businesses by partnering to bring more opportunities and services to our members and
community.
- Raise our awareness in the community through publicity and marketing efforts.
